Do you have to continue into All Saints’ College in order to enrol in Little Saints?

Absolutely not! We welcome all community members to Little Saints, even if you will be heading off to other Kindy and Primary School programs when the time comes.

What is the age range for children eligible for enrolment at Little Saints Childcare?

From our opening in July 2024 until the end of the year, we plan to enrol a limited number of children aged 12 months to 3 years for the best initial experience.

Little Saints Childcare will, once fully open in January 2025, welcome children from 12 months to 4 years (Pre-Kindergarten age) for long day care.

From January 2025, a 3-Year-Old Kindy program will be offered for children who turn 3 years between 30 June 2024 and 30 June 2025.

How can I register my child at Little Saints Childcare, and what's the enrolment process?

1. Join the Waitlist

To secure a place for your child at Little Saints Childcare, it is important to join our waitlist. As part of the waitlist registration, a $70 non-refundable fee will be required to reserve your place. Please note, registering for the waitlist does not guarantee you a place at the Centre as it remains subject to availability.

2. Waitlist Notification:

Little Saints Childcare will commence the enrolment process from May 2024, at which point we will begin contacting those on the waitlist to offer an invitation for enrolment for your child, where available.

3. Confirmation of Enrolment:

If you receive an invitation and are interested in confirming your child's place, you will be required to complete a full enrolment form. Alongside this, you will need to pay fees for the first two weeks in advance to secure your child's place in our childcare program.

Why are enrolments limited when Little Saints first opens in 2024?

To ensure the best chance for children, staff and the wider All Saints’ community to settle and thrive into their new surroundings, we will be limiting enrolments in 2024. This will allow our fantastic staff the time to get to know our new facility, the routines, philosophy and provide the best possible experience for little ones and their families.

In 2024, our Three Year Old Kindy program for children aged 4 years, is still operating out of the Early Childhood Centre within All Saints’ College.

In 2025, Little Saints will open the remainder of our 97 places for enrolment, including our Three Year Old Kindy program which will move to its new home within Little Saints.

What are the operating hours of Little Saints Childcare?

Little Saints Childcare will offer long day care from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Are there options for part-time or full-time enrolment at Little Saints Childcare?

We offer both part-time and full-time enrolment options to accommodate varying family needs. Contact us to discuss the best enrolment options for your child.

Is there a minimum number of days that my child can attend?

Yes, we will have a two-day minimum for enrolment. This aligns with our Primary Carer Model allowing children to transition well and to develop responsive, consistent and secure relationships with their educators.

What sets Little Saints Childcare apart from other childcare centres in the area?

Are there any specific educational philosophies or programs followed at Little Saints Childcare?

Little Saints Childcare has a play-based approach to learning in line with the Early Years Learning Framework. It is through intentional play that creativity and curiosity is encouraged, and social and emotional skills developed. There is a strong commitment to nature pedagogy linking to the on campus bush school.

Our primary carer model philosophy means that your little one’s learning program will continuously evolve through their carer’s personalised observation and engagement.

What are the day rates for Little Saints Childcare?

Our Day Rate is $175 per day, inclusive of any Child Care Subsidy (CCS) that may apply. Plus, meals and consumables are on us (excluding nappies) and are included in this fee, which is payable fortnightly in advance based on the number of days per week your little one will be joining us.

What safety measures and protocols are in place at Little Saints Childcare?

The health, safety, security and overall wellbeing of every child in our care is our team’s highest priority. Our policies, procedures and practices have been thoughtfully formed with the health, safety and security of all children at the forefront and in alignment with the National Law and regulations. The Little Saints team will ensure safety measures are in place and will undergo regular training to ensure they have the right skills and knowledge to keep everyone safe and well.

Is the Childcare Subsidy (CCS) available?

How are parents or guardians involved in their child's learning journey at Little Saints Childcare?

Our tailored learning program deeply involves parents and guardians, ensuring their vital role in crafting each child’s distinctive educational path. Through regular one-to-one meetings, consistent communication via our Little Saints app, and regular engagement opportunities, parents and guardians become integral partners along their Little Saints journey.

What qualifications and training do the educators and staff members at Little Saints Childcare hold?

Our educators will hold relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education, regularly undergo additional training, and have the necessary certifications in first aid and child safety. We maintain a continuous learning program to ensure all staff are kept up to date on dietary, allergenic, cultural, and medical needs of our centre community.

Are there opportunities for tours or visits to Little Saints Childcare before enrolling my child?

While we are still settling into our new home, please contact us to arrange a potential visit.

Is there an Endowment Fee?

When you are offered an enrolment place, we will ask you to confirm your enrolment via payment of a non-refundable Acceptance Fee, equivalent to two full days (currently $350). But don’t worry, this fee will be applied as a credit to your account once your little explorer commences.

Will we get priority entry to All Saints' College?

Children who have attended Little Saints will receive preferential enrolment priority compared to children who have not attended Little Saints and do not have any prior connections with the College, however, it does not guarantee enrolment with offers made according to the College's enrolment policy and date of applications.
